The cyclist will be waiting (without bike) in the relay zone (Potterierei next to the Snaggaardbrug) on his swimmer. The swimmer gives the chip to the biker, who can then run to his bike in the transition area. The swimmer should leave the relay zone as fast as possible after the exchange. The cyclist can start the bike course.

While running in the transition area keep your helmet on you can remove your helmet when your bike is on the frame.
Next the cyclist runs to the relay area and hands over the chip to his runner. The runner runs to the exit of the transition area in the E. Zorghestraat and starts the run course.
The biker leaves the transition area as fast as possible (bike check-out).
If the cyclist has obtained a yellow card (see explanation about blocking & drafting below) he needs to tell his runner. It’s the runner which needs to sit out the penalty in the penalty box.
The runner has to make sure he’s on time in the relay zone, when this should be he has to make out for himself.
